We appreciate your willingness to visit the south suburbs to give us an insight into what it was like growing up as the daughter of a Holocaust survivor. It was compelling to hear you explain how forgiving your father for the abuse he inflicted upon your family was not to absolve him of guilt but to free yourself from the anger that consumed you.
